We have a new rule!

Yes, a new rule... We got the suggestion that it'd be much easier for us to submit art and to keep track with all the submitting-notes with a new rule: One deviation per day.

It makes work for us much easier and it is fair for more artists as the newest deviations are displayed on the frontpage of our club. So if those are all from one deviant only he/she gains the whole attetion and the others won't anymore... So we decided that this was a good way to make it fair and easier for us ;P



We have a winner of the avy-contest! :iconaiki-ame: Sadly only 2 person joined in the contest... but they both did a great job! ^^ I will change the icon right away ;P
The summer-contest ends today as well. I will set up a poll.

Welcome to the Manga-ka-club!


We are a club for all artists that draw their own manga-characters and/or even write their own stories!

News 6.6.08


Sigh, sorry for the latest delays with notes, joins, watches,... ^^; I will try my best to keep the club running. I will upload the submission-notes tomorrow! But I'd be rather glad if one of the mods could help me there ;) ^^

Spring-Contest

Our new contest will be about the (in my opinion) finest season in the year: spring. Your challenge will be to draw OCs in springtime. You can decide all by yourself how you want to draw them: Surrounded by flowers, sitting under a tree, ... it is up to you!

Rules:

-only members can join in! (registered member! Its not enough if you send me an entry and say you want to be member at the same time. You HAVE to be registered as a member and THEN send me the entry!)
-No limited picture-size. All formats are welcome.
-MUST match with the motto of the contest. (Though we don't take this too serious... it shouldn't be a Christmas picture or something like this. You know what I mean ;P)
-Deadline is May 20th. Afterwards we will have a 5-day poll to see which picture people like most. Any club-member is allowed to join in this contest.


Prices:
1st place:
-1 month feature in the club-journal and *Deamond89 s journal
-Will be set as favorite deviation on the club
-colored chibi or full character by ~Stacatto

2nd place:
-Feature in the clubs journal and *Deamond89 s journal

:bulletgreen:Am I allowed to submit OCs? Yes. OCs are great. We are a Mangaka-club-> We try to spread the OC-love of whole dA!

:bulletgreen:Am I allowed to submit fancharacters? Yes. We don't mind characters based on other animes/games, as long as they are your own.

Am I allowed to submit fanarts? No. We want you to be creative yourself and not copy other persons artstyles and characters. Please respect that.

:bulletgreen:Am I allowed to submit manga-pages? Of course! As the name says: Manga-ka-club. We'd love to see your manga-pages. But please don't submit all of them. Maybe once every 5-10 pages =) Otherwise it is really much for us to submit ;P ^^


:bulletgreen:Can I put my Submissions in My Join Note? Please Put your Submissions in DIFFERENT Note. We handle the join-notes always right away but sometimes wait with submissions... so please write two notes.
